About.
Hi, I’m Amy Chapman Braun—photographer, artist, and creative director based in Raleigh, NC, and the founder of Brauncreative.
With roots in advertising and a passion for photography and the natural world, my work blends thoughtful design, clean typography, and compelling imagery to create meaningful, timeless visual experiences. I believe every piece of creative should feel intentional, approachable, and deeply aligned with purpose.
Currently, I serve as Creative Director at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, where I lead brand storytelling through design and photography that drives engagement and elevates mission-driven messaging.
I’ve partnered with a wide range of clients—from national brands to local institutions. Past collaborations include:
Coastal Living Magazine, Singh Investors (Key West Resorts), Architectural Digest, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, Amazing Interior Designers, Pearson Furniture, Maine Cottage, SAS, The Umstead Hotel and Spa, and the John Mayer Concert Tour Artisan Program.
At the heart of it all? A belief that great work starts with listening—then translating ideas into design that connects.
